New room for innovations
It has been accomplished: the extension to the HEUFT premises at "Am Wind" in Burgbrohl has already been completed after a construction period of just one and a half years. Three new manufacturing halls as well as spacious new service, training and exhibition areas provide the best conditions for an optimal development and production process and an exceptional service to the customer.
What started in a tiny garage has grown into a really large company: the premises of HEUFT SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH which was founded in 1979 has been extended several times in order to constantly meet the tremendous demand for the superior inline systems for maximum quality, safety and efficiency during the production and packaging of food, drink and healthcare products. On the one hand three production halls which together provide 5,300 square metres of space are completely new. But the heart of the new building started in September 2009 is the 4,000 square metre Customer Center with modern offices, attractive service, conference and training rooms and a spacious arena. The HEUFT premises at "Am Wind" in Burgbrohl alone (together with the new parking and traffic areas and the existing buildings) now comprise about 22,000 square metres - this corresponds to an area of almost 85 tennis courts!
Production areas which had been relocated in the meantime because of a shortage of space could be concentrated in one place again due to the new building. Employees and customers gain from this as a result of shorter distances, faster response times, smooth processes and the highest level of production quality. Consolidating the R&D, production, service and quality assurance departments under one roof ensures that the experiences gained at the customer´s today are already implemented in innovative solutions designed to meet customer demands tomorrow. A new control centre for the Customer Care & Technical Service department provides the best conditions for a proactive customer service. Whether online remote maintenance via the HEUFT TeleService or on-site visits directly at the customer´s: the nerve centre in the extension coordinates all these services. The new premises equipped with modern facilities also provide ideal conditions for workshops, training courses and seminars.
New Customer and Exhibition Center
However the highlight of the new HEUFT Customer Center is the almost 1,000 square meter arena where almost the complete range of HEUFT systems can be experienced. Visitors can examine them there closely at any time and see their performance for themselves. Because all the devices and machines presented there can of course be inspected live and in action. It is even possible to test how suitable the devices are for checking specific products and packaging from one´s own portfolio directly on the premises by giving notice of a visit in good time and making the corresponding samples available beforehand. The new main auditorium provides a great deal of room for all types of events including real major events: there is room for up to 200 people. The spacious hall is equipped with the most modern presentation equipment as are all the rooms for workshops, training courses and conferences in the Customer Center. Thus network-compatible, digital whiteboards not only make interactive access and the connection to multimedia contents possible but also direct access to the user interfaces of all the systems of the HEUFT SPECTRUM TX series. There are attractive communication forums with outstanding views over the delightful countryside of the Eifel available for the HEUFT guests where they can take their time to process the information gained.
