Glass-in-glass detection and more

In its anniversary year HEUFT is once again bringing innovative systems for inline quality assurance to BrauBeviale in Nuremberg.

No standstill – this also applies to HEUFT SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH in a double sense on its 40th anniversary: the family business founded in 1979 is continuing on its course of innovation and further developing its modular inspection and labelling systems consistently. Therefore they not only provide more and more precision for an in-line quality assurance during the filling and packaging process but also prevent line standstills.

Perfected pulsed X-rays

For example the further developed HEUFT eXaminer II XOS achieves a new level of detection reliability and availability during the increasingly important full container inspection due to the extended performance and lifetime of the exclusive pulsed X-ray technology and perfected software. Not only the glass in glass detection is even more reliable due to new X-ray flash generators and full-field image converters but also the identification of weaker absorbing objects on the bottle base. The optimised system also has additional high performance cameras as the only device of its kind for finding paper, mould or transparent film everywhere in the full container.

Further highlights on the BrauBeviale stand of the systems engineers:  the new HEUFT canLine II empty can inspector, the HEUFT InLine II IS as the current standard for an empty bottle inspection, the HEUFT e-mono with innovative adaptive segment tips for the upright high-speed rejection of glass bottles without compressed air and the semi-modular HEUFT TORNADO II dynamic labelling machine.
