BrauBeviale 2026: Time to reduce downtime!

27 October 2026

Highly automated, assisted and centralised: with HEUFT SPECTRUM II, HEUFT NaVi and HEUFT CyBridge.reciper, brand and programme changes can be carried out easily and without lengthy line stoppages.

For almost 15 years now, it has been setting new standards in terms of operational, detection and manipulation reliability, computing power and precision in product tracking, in-line inspection and fault rejection: the HEUFT SPECTRUM II platform with its self-explanatory HEUFT NaVi user guidance. Further optimised, this overarching, multi-processing-capable control unit for various modules, systems and applications impresses above all with its exceptionally high degree of automation:

Product, brand, programme and format changes are carried out easily, quickly and without manual intervention. All parameters are automatically adjusted thanks to clearly reproducible product-specific settings, whilst the height and position of the detection units are adjusted by motorised controls. Incorrect settings are prevented. This saves time and money: line downtime, as well as losses in efficiency and productivity due to time-consuming changeovers, are significantly reduced, and staff resources are effectively conserved.

Easy changeovers!

This is further enhanced by the unique human-machine interface of the universal platform for quality control and inspection systems, featuring the audiovisual HEUFT NaVi user guidance: a special product changeover assistant guides the user intuitively and step-by-step through the changeover procedure. To make the process easier, quicker and more targeted, all relevant values and additional information can be integrated into the latest version of HEUFT NaVi – including custom title and description texts. For the relevant staff members, the self-explanatory user guidance not only offers personalised, tamper-proof access rights via RFID login. In addition, it is possible to store up to 16 customisable personal instructions, amongst other things. This customisation helps everyone involved to always know exactly what needs to be done when it comes to quick and efficient product and programme changes.

The IT tool HEUFT CyBrigde.reciper enables centralised product changeovers for network-compatible HEUFT SPECTRUM II systems. Via the Weihenstephan interface, it is not only connected to these systems but also to the overarching manufacturing execution system (MES). As soon as a programme change is initiated, the HEUFT CyBrigde.reciper automatically transmits the current recipes to the devices. Whether it is bottle shape and contents, fill level, closure type and colour, or the number, position, language and design details of the labels: the devices immediately recognise the specific characteristics of the individual finished product and adjust themselves accordingly. This enables them to perform their inspection tasks optimally.

Simply more variety!

The commissioning of new products as well as the adaptation of existing brands and recipes is also quick and easy with the HEUFT CyBrigde.reciper. It helps to select the correct sub-programme for the correct product via the MES. if, for example, just one detail – such as the cap colour – changes across 40 products, there is no need to delete the existing parameters individually 40 times and then re-enter them, which is time-consuming. Instead, the new characteristic is applied to all selected product types simultaneously. This enables short-term marketing campaigns, such as seasonal special packaging, to be implemented quickly and effectively.

Alongside other in-house developed IT tools designed to boost line efficiency, the HEUFT CyBrigde.reciper will also be in the spotlight at BrauBeviale, Stand 8-220, in Nuremberg from 10 to 12 November.
